A strong CFO is essential for driving growth and creating shareholder value. Cristina has extensive financial management expertise and has successfully led teams across dynamic markets to meet and exceed plans. She oversees a wide range of crucial functions including Investor Relations, FP&A, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury and Corporate Real Estate. As a champion of our long-term company strategy, Cristina collaborates closely with Otis leaders to identify opportunities, assess risk, provide recommendations for business development, and drive profitable growth.

Before being named CFO in August 2024, Cristina served as Senior Vice President, Finance & Transformation for our EMEA region, which is comprised of more than 40 countries along with the largest portion of Otis’ service portfolio. In that role, she had a strong focus on FP&A, M&A and transformation activities.

Prior to joining Otis, Cristina served as a senior Finance executive in the global telecommunications industry for more than 15 years. She spent a majority of her career at the Telefonica Group, where she was responsible for both strategic and financial planning in several different roles, including Senior Vice President, Director Controlling of Telefonica Deutschland, where she had responsibility for a multi-billion-dollar P&L while leading growth, efficiency and transformation projects.

Cristina holds a degree in telecommunications engineering from Bilbao School of Engineering, UPV/EHU, in Spain.
